Selections from the Collection is an iteration of Zeitz MOCAA’s Permanent Collection, established in 2015. The collection focuses on contemporary artistic practices from Africa and its global diaspora, addressing several relevant discourses in Africa and the world today, including migration, human rights, visibility, memory, and desire. It includes works by some of the most celebrated artists working today. It also holds comprehensive bodies of work by singular artists such as Nandipha Mntambo, Zanele Muholi, and Kudzanai Chiurai, among others.
