Featuring the launch of a solo exhibition by artist Nicolene Burger. The collection of works in Slowing Down explores themes of home, memory, belonging, and selfhood. The domestic, the ancestral, and the emotional are woven together to form a practice of quiet resistance. The works question how one might find coherence within uncertainty, and how art-making can become a site of restoration rather than depletion. By returning to the humble materials of care and repetition, Nicolene explores what it means to build a sense of home not through arrival or resolution, but through the ongoing act of attention.
