‍Notes on Paper brings together thirteen artists who treat paper as an active site of making. The exhibition presents drawings, photographic works, collages, text work, and mixed-media pieces that engage the surface in distinct ways—through mark, stain, fold, pressure, repetition, or arrangement. It begins from a simple premise: a note is a deliberate mark, a way of registering an observation, movement, structural idea, or shift in thought. In this sense, the “note” is not a minor gesture but a choice made material.
