Cloud Art in Abstract
Alan Baxter
Alan Baxter, of Alan Baxter Photography, presents Cloud Art in Abstract — a new form of art photography created by inverting clouds in post-processing to produce vivid, otherworldly imagery in a kaleidoscope of colours to suit every viewer’s palette and eye.
“Cloud Art” was born from a simple obsession. After years of photographing sunsets, Alan wondered how he could imbue the humble daylight cloud with the same breathtaking colour and drama. Through experimentation and a new way of seeing, he developed this genre to reveal the hidden artistry in the skies above us. This exhibition is an invitation to look up and experience the everyday heavens in a spectacular new light.Alan Baxter is a Cape Town–based fine art photographer known for his innovative techniques and evocative imagery.
