The City of Cape Town’s Emerging Artists Programme (EAP) supports early-career visual artists by providing a platform for exposure, professional development, and hands-on experience in curating and exhibiting work. This Spring/Summer season, the EAP will host a series of three curated pop-up exhibitions aligned with First Thursdays on 2 October, 6 November, and 4 December.

Each exhibition will be preceded by a full-day Exhibition Readiness Workshop, designed to equip participating artists with practical skills, industry insight, and the confidence to present their work to the public. These events aim to spotlight emerging talent, build capacity in exhibition-making and sales, and foster valuable opportunities for visibility, networking, and growth within the visual arts sector.
