Shaped by Place marks SAOTA’s 40th anniversary with a public exhibition exploring four decades of architectural thinking, design evolution, and global influence. In partnership with Poliform and hosted at Brundyn Arts & Culture, the exhibition traces SAOTA’s journey from a small Cape Town studio to an internationally recognised practice through architectural models, large-scale imagery, and curated narratives. Rather than a traditional retrospective, Shaped by Place offers insight into the ideas, processes, and collaborations that have shaped the practice over forty years.
