Gallery MOMO is hosting an unforgettable artist talk and performance with celebrated visual artist, poet, and jazz musician, Lefifi Tladi. A key figure in South Africa's avant-garde art movement, Tladi will share insights from his decades of radical creativity that fused visual art with poetry and jazz improvisation.

The evening will begin with opening remarks by Mr. Tshepo Koka (writer, researcher, and PhD candidate in econometrics). Followed by a discussion featuring Lefifi Tladi, in conversation with Dr. Refiloe Lepere - Senior Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand and co-lead of the Creative Research Lab and Lerato Kuzwayo (Artist and Lefifi’s mentee), who has worked closely with Tladi’s collection. The conversation will be moderated by Lekgetho Makola, a renowned cultural preservation practitioner.
