Off Kilter by Dillon Marsh brings together two seemingly disparate bodies of work (KAROO & FEVER DREAM), developed concurrently as part of a singular practice. In doing so we aim to challenge the notion that photographic artists are obliged to decide upon and maintain a particular aesthetic or typological path, forsaking any divergent impulses that may complicate or devalue our understanding of their work. Reframed as visual multilingualism, Off Kilter celebrates paradox and a spirit of ongoing exploration.
