About this programme item
CTRL + ALT + AFRICA is an exhibition rooted in the tension between prescribed narratives and self-authored ones—between systems built to contain and artists determined to reconfigure them. Drawing from the dual technical and symbolic functions of the keyboard commands CTRL and ALT, the exhibition frames digital language as metaphor for cultural agency and imaginative reconstruction.
