About this programme item

Elizabeth Miller-Vermeulen's seventh solo exhibition, CoreFIBRE (Memory Resides Here), explores concepts of memory and materiality through a multidisciplinary practice that includes drawing, painting, and assemblage. Miller-Vermeulen is an artist, independent curator, and alumnus of Stellenbosch University who is currently based in Somerset West.

According to the artist, this exhibition “considers meaning within objects, shapes, and surfaces, revealing and personal histories interwoven with collective forms of remembrance […] and reflects on the artworks as sites of temporal residue.”
