Blind Wine Tasting: Serious Whites
Serious Whites – Without the Label
The Third Installment of Bertha Wine Bar Blind Tasting Series
Bertha Wine Bar blind tasting series continues, and this time we’re turning our attention to serious white wines.
The first evening explored South African white varietals.
The second took us through Stellenbosch rosé.
Now, for the third installment, we step into a world of whites that are more complex, layered, and textured.
Forget the label. Ignore reputation. Trust your palate.
Join Bertha Wine Bar for a one-hour blind tasting experience, where a curated selection of 4–5 serious white wines will be poured completely blind.
From vibrant and mineral to rich and structured, each wine invites conversation, comparison, and a few surprises.
What to expect:
• A guided blind tasting of four serious white wines
• Focus on aroma, texture, structure, and balance
• Relaxed, interactive, and slightly competitive
• Wines revealed only at the end
Hosted by Danielle de Beer, Group Sommelier of Bertha Wines.
