Aspire Art is pleased to present a special preview of highlights from our upcoming Modern & Contemporary Art auction, to be held in Johannesburg on 17 June. Cape Town audiences have the opportunity to view this curated selection of significant works by some of South Africa’s most important artists, from local masters such as J.H. Pierneef (1886–1957), to modern painters Peter Clarke (1929–2014) and Gladys Mgudlandlu (1925–1979), and contemporary voices such as Penny Siopis (born 1953) and Georgina Gratrix (born 1982).

The exhibition will be on view until 19 May, after which the works will travel to Johannesburg.
