Artist Amy Rusch will present an Artist Talk on the Stellenbosch Art Mile on Thursday, 2 July at 17h00, as part of Stellenbosch First Thursdays.

The talk will take place at Amy Rusch's installation on the Stellenbosch Art Mile, along Noordwal Oos Road, offering a final encounter with TRANSLATIONS IN SAILCLOTH: Reverberations of the Perishable and Enduring (2025).Created from discarded spinnaker sailcloth, rope and thread, the installation explores endurance, memory and the passage of time.

Over the past season, the work has weathered life on the Art Mile, allowing wind, rain and sunlight to become collaborators in its story. The event marks an opportunity to celebrate and bid farewell to a work that honours both fragility and resilience.
