Altar Ego is an ode to clay and a return to childhood, to the first sculptures I ever made: sandcastles. I remember dripping water onto dry sand, watching impossible towers rise beneath my hands. There was no ambition, only wonder.

These ceramic altars are born from that same place. Clay has taught me that making is not about perfection, but presence. Somewhere between shaping the earth and being shaped by it, I became gentler. Ceramics revealed that creating beauty is not a luxury but a way of remembering ourselves.

As a poet, I found a new vocabulary in clay. Ceramics is simply poetry that can be touched. Every curve, fingerprint, and crack is part of the story.
