Emerging with the African Jazz Pioneers, he studied under Jackie McLean in the United States and went on to perform with international jazz greats. Back home, he shared stages with South African legends like Victor Ntoni and Winston Mankunku, while backing iconic voices such as Sibongile Khumalo.
